Q: What is the “Website Creation Workshop”?
The Website Creation Workshop is an 16 Week Online Webinar coaching program by Christina Hills that takes students through the process of creating their own website without a webmaster. Using the self hosted WordPress software students will learn how to create a blog or a website that is easy to update, great for the search engines, and does NOT require webmaster skills. Students learn hands on by having their own “student project” WordPress Website Installed for them.

Q: What is an affiliate program?
An affiliate program is where you sign up to be an affiliate of Christina Hills, and we pay you a commission when you refer people to me. The way it works is that once you sign up, you get a specialized affiliate id link. You send people this link in an email, or put it on your web site, and when someone buys one of my training programs through your link, you get paid!
This site assumes that you are an experienced affiliate and know how to promote programs such as these. It assumes you understand what an affiliate program is, and how to use your affiliate ID and affiliate link. If you are not an experienced affiliate, then you will need to learn on your own how an affiliate program works

Q: If I’m already an affiliate of Christina do I need to sign up again?
If you had signed up before 2020 then you may not be in our new affiliate system.

Q. I’ve sent traffic, why don’t I see opt ins in my affiliate members area?
We use Aweber for email subscriber opt-ins, so you will not see leads inside your account

Q. How does the opt in contest work?
The opt in contest is tracked by opt ins, not leads. Example of how it works: John and Sally both promote PLC 1. John gets 500 opt ins and Sally gets 300 opt ins BUT 100 people on Sally’s list are also on Ryan’s list. It does not matter, we would still track John at 500 opt ins and Sally at 300 opt ins.

Q. Can I run Facebook Ads, Google Ads, or other Advertisements?
It’s up to you if you want to run any Facebook Ads, Google Ads, or other advertisements.
We cannot guarantee that it will work for you, as paid advertising is something that we do
not teach. So if you know what you are doing and are confident, go for it!

Q. How much is the commission?
The commission for the Website Creation Workshop is 20% for 1 or 2 sales, and 30% for 3 or more (note that we have a big “done for you” part of our program. So the commission reflect that labor on our end.)
All affiliates need to be verified that you are a real person before any payouts are paid.
Other programs of Christina have a different commission structure.

Q. May I purchase through my own Affiliate link and receive a commission for my purchase?
No.
While the system will technically let you click on your link to make a purchase, you will not receive a commission for that. The purpose of an affiliate program is not to give yourself a discount, but to promote the Website Creation Workshop to others and earn a referral fee.
Please be aware that affiliates will not be paid for their own purchases through their affiliate id.
If you should purchase the program for yourself, and your affiliate cookie is active, then no worries, we will simply void out that affiliate commission.
This is not considered a referral. Any commissions that appear to be related will be voided.

Q. How do you Track Affiliate Commissions?
We use a “Last Cookie” affiliate scenario. In other words…if a prospect clicks on someone else’s link and then later clicks on you link and makes a purchase…you will receive the commission because your link was the last one they clicked on before they made a purchase. The cookies last 90 days.
If they click on one of our own links (house links) your link will override the house link and you will receive the commission.
If someone purchases the Website Creation Workshop at your referral but did not use your affiliate link, you need to have them email us within 2 weeks to give you credit.

Q. When does the course start?
The start date for the live course will be listed once the sales letter is live. Typically the week after the launch closes.

Q: How do I receive commissions for my sales?
The commission payouts are sent via PayPal approx 60 days after the sale occurs. This is to account for processing refunds. We pay monthly. Then there will be more payouts after that if people came in on a payment plan. The last payout will be within 60 days of the last payment plan. Each time the program is run, we have different payment plans, so just watch your email for notices.
You must be an approved affiliate before we will pay out a commission. All former students of the course are almost always automatically approved.
We ONLY pay all of our affiliates by PayPal.

Q: Where do I submit my W9 Form?
As of April 1st, 2016, we are no longer sending payout check in the mail, but through PayPal. Because of that, we no longer collect W9’s or W8’s (for Canadians). It is up to PayPal to send you a W9. PayPal has their own rules so you will have to check with PayPal.

You will get an email notification when you get a commission so you will know what is coming to you. As of April 1st, 2016, commission payouts are sent via PayPal 60 days after the sale occurs. We no longer mail checks.

Q: How will you keep track of the orders coming from my site?
Each visitor is cookied to you. If they come directly to my site (through one of our links or your links), and make a purchase, you will earn a commission.

Q: How will I know how many sales I have referred?
There are two ways you are notified of each sale you refer. The first is via email. Every time you refer a sale an email will be sent to you.
The second way is to sign in to your Thrivecart affiliate areaand check your stats. All your statistics are displayed in up-to-the-minute “real-time.”

Q: Do I need to have a Shopping Cart Account in order to be an affiliate?
No, you do not need to have a Shopping Cart Account in order to be an affiliate of our programs.
Q: Can you reciprocate and promote me back?
If we have a pre-arranged agreement, we can promote you back. We need at least 2 week notice to get all promotional materials: swipe, graphics, links, etc. in order for us to promote you back. Typically you will need to get at least 50 opt ins for us to include you in our newsletter, and 100-150 opt ins for us to do a solo email.
